After living here for a year, I would not recommend living at this apartment.
Before I get into the reasons I would not recommend Arabella, I do want to at least mention some pros about living here. First, the location in DTC is nice. Second, the studio layout is actually nice and not a square cell (this was probably my favorite thing here).
However, these qualities do not outweigh the toxicity I experienced with management especially Nicole. At the best our interactions were okay and at the worst I felt dismissed, belittled and/or antagonized at the end. For instance, the worst interaction I had with Nicole happened after I returned from vacation, and found my car was unlocked and small items from my car had been stolen. During Memorial Weekend I went to visit family and left my car at Arabella. When I came back I realized my car was unlocked and that multiple items had been stolen in my glovebox, center console and trunk. Now luckily my car was not vandalized/stolen and nothing valuable was taken, but I realized that I must have accidentally left my car unlocked even though I'm usually precautious about that. Despite this, I thought it might be a good idea to notify management that someone did in fact enter my car to steal personal items and to at least warn other residents that someone is trying to enter cars to steal things. When I finished explaining my situation and suggested to notify residents, Nicole's first response was, " It's all your fault, it's not out responsibility that you left your car unlocked that's on you" in a very curt manner and was completely dismissive of what I was actually suggesting. I thought I approached management in a calm, honest, polite manner and I never mentioned anything about legal measures, and/or compensation. However, most importantly, I never blamed Arabella for this because despite what Nicole thought I did realize that this was unfortunately my doing. All I wanted to do was look out for my neighbors and other residents by letting them know that were is at least a person trying to enter vehicles to steal things and prevent it from happening. Then I asked Nicole if residents should be notified and she responded "We only do that for certain things". This was by far my worst interaction with Nicole. I felt that she really didn't care about me as a resident (she didn't even seem concerned for me but instead the apartments liability) and I also got the impression that she didn't care all that much about other residents since she didn't want to notify them about someone trying to enter cars to steal things.
Overall, Nicole treated me with disrespect and answered me in ways that were rude, dismissive, unsympathetic, and/or condescending. After this encounter and others, I tried my best to avoid management and only went near the leasing office when absolutely necessary. I never felt comfortable approaching management especially Nicole with problems which I believe is a toxic trait to have as management. Even though I might have mentioned some good things about this apartment they in no way make up for Nicole's attitude. With that said I do not recommend living here and if you do avoid management as much as possible.
In addition to the management there are other things that would have dissuaded me from living at Arabella if I had known sooner. During my stay on the third floor there were a lot of wasps that would constantly be present during the warmer seasons. At one point wasps came into my bathroom through the vent and while the vent was (eventually) sealed it still shows the state of the apartment and handling of pests. Also, the exterior of the apartment is old and not in the best shape. The wood on my balcony railing was rotting, the stairs leading to the apartments were very rough to the point that splinters were inevitable, and some of the steps would wobble. Finally, there were a lot of pot holes at this apartment and towards the end of of the property near building 10 there is a "pot trench" since it is a pot hole that extends at least 10 feet.

Excellent service; I called in on Friday for a broken sink and aerator. Immediately they got in motion and it was fixed by Tuesday (2 bus days) Thank you for the good service and I'm happy to call again if any other maintenance issues arise

I lived here for over 6 years. At first, it was a decent place to live, but unfortunately, the current management has made that no longer the case. The current manager, Nicole, is one of the most incompetent people I have ever dealt with. She does not know how to communicate with residents and struggles to perform the most basic of responsibilities. You will see numerous other reviews that echo the same sentiment. The maintenance staff is very good and took care of request quickly, but keep in mind these are old buildings. They use a wall A/C unit which really struggles to keep the apartment cool when it's 90+ and baseboard heat which can essentially only be set to boiling or off. On lower floors will hear your upstairs neighbors constantly. Do not rent here, you will regret it.

Also, only rent here if you can get a top floor as lower floors will hear your upstairs neighbors constantly. If they get a different manager, I would consider Arabella if priced lower than surrounding apartments, otherwise I would look elsewhere.

Old building, can hear neighbors all the time. Heating all winter didnât work, very cold and they didnât do anything about it. Always seemed to be a problem with something. Fridge was extremely loud. But, cute apartment complex with the pool and some greenery and maintenance guys are very nice!

Just recently moved in and so far, so good! Nicole has been so helpful with the process and her partner (canât think of her name) has been a delight as well. I had actually applied a few months ago but ended up not moving. The prices dropped which was in my favor and I jumped on the opportunity. Great location, peaceful but close to the highways for work. I work weird hours and come in late at night but feel like there is enough light in the parking lot to get me to my apartment safe. Closer parking would be nice, but it is not terribly far away. The apartment is a great size and beautifully laid out, Iâm excited to start decorating and making it my own. Hoping I donât annoy Nicole too much with all the questions and am excited to start my new beginning at Arabella!
